FAQs
Frequently asked questions about Gilbert & Sullivan performances by the Swaffham Bulbeck Summer Theatre group
Can I buy tickets on the door?
This is only possible if we have not sold out for a given performance. Please note that often the evening performances, especially Friday and Saturday, do sell out. Tickets are usually available on the door for the Saturday matinee but it is always wise to check beforehand with the Box Office. See our 'How to Book Your Tickets' page.
Can I collect and pay for reserved tickets on the door?
We discourage this because, in the past, people have failed to turn up and we have lost sales. Please note that we reserve the right to offer for re-sale any tickets which have been reserved but not paid for, or which have not been collected within 15 minutes of the performance starting.
Are seats numbered?
No, seating is available on a first come, first served basis. Come along early to get the best seats! On fine evenings you can even 'bagsy' a seat with your coat and then sit outside on the grass.
What is the car parking situation?
There is off-road car parking available at the farm. If this area becomes full please park thoughtfully and tidily in Swaffham Bulbeck village streets.
Is the barn heated?
No, although the floor is carpeted. If the weather is cold you are advised to bring a blanket. Experienced supporters often bring a cushion too!
Are there disabled facilities?
Yes, the barn is readily accessible for wheelchairs and a disabled toilet is provided. Wheelchair users will be positioned comfortably in the auditorium by stewards who will be on hand to help. It would be helpful if disabled needs could be explained at the ticket-ordering stage so that we are aware of your needs.
Are refreshments available?
There is a cash bar, and for the matinee, tea, coffee, squash and biscuits will be available.
